The final signee of the 2023 spring semester announced by Trinity Valley Community College head volleyball coach Aleah Hayes is a 5-9 outside hitter from Lima, Peru.

Camila Canedo will join the Lady Cardinal program this summer after a brilliant career at both Maria Auxliadora High School and in club competition. She has received no fewer than three Best Player awards in her award-winning career.

"I chose TVCC because apart from being a prestigious college with beautiful structures on its campus," Canedo said. "It is a college that cares about the well-being of its students, and I like it because apart

from having a nice environment, it is a demanding college which helps you and prepares you for the future.

"What excites me the most about TVCC is studying and playing what I am most passionate about and being able to develop. The college will help me prepare for the future in the same way it will help me open new horizons, new panoramas, because I will be able to interact with people from different cultures and customs and learn from it."
