A 5-3 defensive specialist/libero out of Naples, Fla., is the first spring signee of the spring semester announced by Trinity Valley Community College head volleyball coach Aleah Hayes.

Andrea Nicole Patino will join the Lady Cardinal program this summer after graduating from Palmetto Ridge High School, where she enjoyed an MVP career. She also starred with USA South Volleyball and USAV Club National Qualifier.

"I chose TVCC because I loved the campus and recognized that they have an amazing volleyball program," Patino said. "I also noticed that TVCC is a very safe and friendly environment.

"I am most excited to learn and better myself in my volleyball abilities, while improving my academic education. I am looking forward to meeting my new teammates and competing at a high level."
