A 6-0 middle hitter out of Lima, Peru is the next mid-semester addition to the Lady Cardinal volleyball program announced by head coach Aleah Hayes.

Jade Rodriguez joins the Lady Cardinals after wrapping up a successful career at I.E. Juana Infantes Vera in Lima.

"I chose TVCC because some who were here told me that the atmosphere in the team is very familiar and good," Rodriguez said. "Also, the teaching is of a very good level and that the people are very friendly and good with new people and are patient with people whose English is not their first language.

"I am excited since last season TVCC had a great tournament and I want to help continue keeping the name of TVCC high with my teammates."

"I am excited to add Jade to our roster this spring," Hayes said. "She brings athleticism, height, and energy to our team and will impact us quickly.

"Jade's national team experience will be great for the team, and she will do well at TVCC!"
