Lady Cardinal volleyball coach Aleah Hayes has announced the signing of Mariana Bezerra.

Though a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Bezerra spent the last two years at Gateway Legacy Christian Academy in Florissant, Missouri. She is 5-11 and plays the right side position.

"We are excited to add Mariana to our roster, as she brings both international and domestic experience to our team," Hayes said. "She brings athleticism and versatility and has the ability to attack from all positions."

"I look forward to her growth during her time at TVCC."

Bezerra was named her school's Best Offensive Player.

"I chose TVCC because I know I am going to improve my volleyball skills and academically as well," Bezerra said. "I am excited to improve and help TVCC win."
