Jacksonville College could not keep pace with the Cardinal soccer team Tuesday afternoon at The Pit.
Ellie Pace scored four goals to keep the up-and-coming Cardinals to a 10-0 win, which kept them unbeaten on the season and in Region XIV Conference. The 10 goals also represented a school record for goals in a game.
Now 4-0, all in conference games, the Cardinals are scheduled to be back in action at home Friday against Paris Junior College at 5 p.m. Paris is 3-3-1 on the season and 2-2 in conference.
Juliana Torrez got the scoring started for the Cardinals at the 41:35 mark of the first half. Pace added her first goal less than five minutes later and the rout was on.
Also scoring for the Cardinals were Nancy Jacobo, Angelina Saade, Dakota Barnes, Esveidy Fabila and Ava Nautu.
The Cardinals have now shut out all four opponents by a combined 18-0.
