Title: Coaching Assistant

David Gale is in his fifth season as an assistant coach and first with the Cardinals. He will assist with recruiting, player development, scouting opponents, weight training, academics, and social media content.

Prior to TVCC, he spent one season at South Georgia Tech as lead recruiter helping them increase their win total by 10 games going from 8-22 to 18-12 and a conference semifinal appearance.

Before South Georgia Tech he spent two seasons at Eastern Florida State College under HOF Coach Jeremy Shulman and now UT-Martin Head Coach. Gale was responsible for scouting opposing teams, player development, weight training, monitoring academics and creating social media content. From ’21-’23 Gale helped Eastern Florida to back-to-back Region 8 State Tournament appearances, a combined record of 44-19, and as high as #4 ranked team nationally. Gale helped recruit and develop eight D1 student athletes including an All-American (Andres Burney).

Prior to EFSC Gale was an assistant coach at the USC Salkehatchie. Gale was responsible for preparing and cutting practice and game film, scouting opponents, weight training, and social media content.

Gale is a native of Delray Beach, Florida. He was a student assistant at University of South Florida under Coach Orlando Antigua and Rod Strickland. He later earned his bachelor’s degree from University of Central Florida while working as a student assistant for HOF Coach Johnny Dawkins.
