The 2023 schedule for the defending SWJCFC champion Cardinals has been released.
The schedule features five home games, one of which – the season opener on Thursday, Aug. 24 – will be played at Tiger Stadium in Malakoff. Other home games are against Tyler, Cisco, Navarro and NEO.
Conference play begins Saturday, Sept. 16 against Tyler in a 7 p.m. Bruce Field kickoff.
Family Day is scheduled Saturday, Sept. 23 against Cisco. Kickoff is 7 p.m.
Homecoming is on tap Saturday, Oct. 14, when the Cardinals take on Navarro in a 3 p.m. start.
The Cardinals won the SWJCFC title last year with an 7-0 mark. They were 8-3 on the season.
