The Cardinal football family grew by 30 Wednesday on National Signing Day.
Fifth-year head coach Sherard Poteete announced the signees, noting he felt the program had gotten better with the additions.
"We addressed needs and got better as a program," Poteete said. "I am very proud of the job the staff did in assembling this class of signees.
"We are confident this group of young men will come in here this summer and hit the ground running. We are bringing in a lot of athleticism and energy in with these kids."
The Cardinals signed eight defensive backs (four cornerbacks and four safeties), which Poteete said was the biggest area of need.
