The Cardinals fired their best shot of the season Saturday night at Bruce Field, taking down the sixth-ranked and unbeaten Blinn College Buccaneers, winning 42-21.

With the win, the Cardinals, who improved to 2-3 overall and 2-2 in conference, created a logjam in the SWJCFC. Here are the conference standings going into the last week of September:
