Troy Scott is in his 13th year as head athletic trainer at Trinity Valley Community College in 2025.

 

Prior to coming to TVCC, he spent 10 years at the Athens Independent School District, and 3 years with Nacogdoches High School.

 

The Bird City, KS native attended Garden City Community College and is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University and earned his Masters in Education Administration from Lamar University.

 

Troy is married to Meshell, AVP/Branch Manager at Southside Bank in Palestine.  They have two children, Toree, 26 works as an  Occupational Therapy Assistant. Alec, 22  is a Graduate Assistant at Texas Tech, helping the football team as an equipment manager.
