Letter from the Coach

Letter from the Coach

Thanks to everyone for a successful rodeo. It is always good to see our former team members. It is like our kids come home, and they also always help out. I am always overwhelmed and it makes me want to cry. Not to mention all the help from our present team members and their parents. In my opinion, it was our best rodeo yet. This year in Ag Construction, the class finished 5 new turn outs at the TVCC Rodeo Arena and made a spot for our new hydraulic squeeze chute at the college ranch. Hunter Ferguson prevented a fire, and Kyle Crow taught the class while I assisted with the delivery of our new chute. Thank you to Clay McCallie for doing the Wednesday night devotional and the AMAZING crew from Living for the Brand Cowboy Church for providing us with such great meals every Wednesday night at practice. We have had fun this year at the rodeos, and with 3 remaining there are still College National Finals possibilities. We will continue practicing and doing the best we can. We pray for a good finish to this year and an amazing start to next. It is a true blessing for us to have this short time together. The following saying was in my fortune cookie, so it must be good. It is not the will to win, but the will to prepare to win that makes a difference. Don’t EVER give up!
