KEY ROAD WIN: Cardinals edge Paris, 81-79

Tydan Archibald poured in 25 points Wednesday night to lift the Cardinals to a key 81-79 road win against Paris Junior College.

Archibald was red hot from three-point range, hitting 7-of-12 attempts in helping the Cardinals improve to 14-9 on the season and 8-5 in Region XIV Conference. Paris tumbled to 8-14 and 3-10.

The Cardinals take a break from the conference round Saturday at home against Beyond Basketball Houston. Action begins at 4 p.m. after a 2 p.m. women's contest.

The Cardinals led 40-32 at the half. The score was tied 67-67 with 6:00 left in the game.

Trevon Fuller and Anderson Mirambeaux also scored in double figures for the Cardinals with 19 and 16, respectively. Fuller also had nine assists.

Camryn Dennis, returning from an injury, just missed twin figures with nine points.

Darry Moore led the Cardinals with 11 rebounds. Archibald also pulled eight rebounds.

The Cardinals' next conference action is Wednesday, Feb. 12, at Kilgore.
