The Cardinals got the season off to an impressive start at home Saturday night, to record the men's basketball program's 1,300th win with a 127-60 rout of the Texas Riders.
Cardinal basketball is now 1,300-767.
Next up for the Cardinals is another home game Tuesday against Lone Star-Tomball. Game time is 6:30 p.m.
The Cardinals jumped out to a 14-4 lead and never looked back against the Texas Riders. They led 49-33 at the half.
Trevon Fuller led the Cardinals with 22 points, including six three-pointers.
Joining Fuller in twin-figure scoring were Mitchell Seraille with 19, Anderson Mirambeaux 14, Darry Moore 13, Gary Lyons 12 and Gavion Singleton 10.
The Cardinals had 13 three-pointers.
